2022 Scholarship Recipient - Zhicheng Guo

Congratulations to Zhicheng Guo for being selected as the 2022 TTA Scholarship Award recipient!

Zhicheng is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests include magnetic component design, especially high-power high-frequency transformer design with high isolation capability for various high-power electronics applications such as solid-state transformers (SST).

Zhicheng has been invited to attend the 2022 TTA Fall Meeting in Myrtle Beach.

The member companies of The Transformer Association (TTA) have established an academic scholarship program to support qualified students enrolled in degree programs who have exhibited an interest in transformers or power conversion design through course work or other activities, and who might be considering a career in the transformer industry.

TTA will award a scholarship based on academic merit, and the applicant’s demonstrated experience and interest in the field of power conversion.
